I started in the Electrical Industry in 2004. After mastering every scope of the electrical industry, beginning with large Commercial/Industrial projects, moving on to generators and residential wiring, I found myself looking for more!

I started my Renewable Energy journey in 2015. I absolutely fell in love! Being able to be in the sun, making people happy and saving them money with energy independence, it was a no brainer! I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my amazing crew. Especially outside! I look forward in continuing to build the best renewable energy company that NH, ME and MA has ever seen!

I can't give enough positive feedback from my experience working with Chris Porter / Porter Electrical Contracting. I had been debating a solar array for a few years and contacted every dedicated solar company in NH and a couple outside the area to learn what I didn't know and educate myself on the process. Some were very "sales-y" others were pretty matter-of-fact, but I still got the "sales" vibe from most of them. When I called Porter, I had a very frank conversation with Chris about what I was hoping to accomplish and he was more than willing to take on the task. We ended up going with a HUGE 108 panel array and again I can't say more about how well the install went, and how satisfied I am with the outcome. Porter Electric provided multiple solar installs for properties that I have worked on. The entire crew was technical, timely and always tidy. The owner and his teams are always looking for ways to better service the customer and are excellent at what they do. Their workmanship speaks for itself. The other things are just hard to find in a solar and electrical contractor.

I would give them more stars if I could.
